After the Europe Patch, some of the text display for the game has been broken for me. Like when you're in the game, the top part of the minimap should say the location right above the coordinate. I can't see the text there along with some of the text on the item. For example, I went to the potion shop and the Universal Pills don't have the name displayed. I can see the description but not the name.

I think it might be because when I start the game it says to update my graphics card but I don't see how a graphic card update could fix just some text being broken because in-game graphics are fine other than some text display.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Yes.


Close the game, and go to your launcher.

Click options.

Change your language to german/turkish, then click ok, then click options again, change it back to English, click OK again, then click launch.

It should change to normal letters .

It still didn't fix it. I will add a screenshot of it very soon (due to photobucket having a short maintenance) but if anyone has an idea about fixing the problem, please feel free to post it.

I drew a redbox around the parts where there should be text. By the way, other than the redboxes everything else has a text, I just whited it out.

I've just upgraded my graphic cards and everything is just the same, still getting the text missing error

i have that same problem when im logging in to.....

when i first get on there the two buttons that r spose to say login and exit r both blank so then when i hit enter and go to the sercurity check like the words that should be above it are all little blue sqares and then on the bottom where it should say like checking server status or watever its all little blue boxes and then when i go to the black/white horse its a bunch of boxes instead of words....like everywhere words r spose to be its just little blue boxes...they look like this [] but r blue and a little smaller

I have the exact same problem! its starting to get annoying... i want to know where i am, but i can never know, so can someone help us?

yes this problem is occuring with me too. i have no idea how to fix it, i dont know if its my graphics card or what. but its annoying me and im only playing the game as i played it in the Chinese character worlds.

The Blue thing has everyone. Its a message when you go in ta a sertant area. It displays the lvl mobs and the name of the area. Everyone has that.

Other thing, play some with your language settings, i thought that nighbloom made a topic about it. Check the history from the Tenchincal Help forum. There must be something.

it just got worse for me now... now it doesnt display the names of monsters anymore for me... it is very annoying now...
