Everyone's been having problems. On China characters, the Crit's and BR's fell on a lot of weapons, on the Europe characters, we get massive lag and impossible play conditions following a whole client crash and the game just shuts down. Joymax has yet again disappointed their public....and failed at making a game that is 100% successful, like say.....MapleStory for example.
If you guys agree.....vote in my poll. So here is the explanation to a lot of issues, everyone's getting them.
-Re-installing does nothing, it's the client
-Massive lag and such is a problem result of poor coding or unprepared servers.
-Game Crashing, another error due to bad coding, somewhere along the line, they missed something or screwed something up
-Weapon and Clothing stats on Chinese characters dropped for some odd reason, no idea why.
-Traders getting one stars stolen by thieves because of the new Caravan system, because of the traders abusing the 1 star protection, level 40+ one star traders will be able to be robbed of their items.

I hope this explained all your problems, post any other problems here.

i woke up 6:50 i stated playing fins i never lagged then like at 10:am i get massive laggg soo bad i just stopped playing T.T
i got to lvl 8 at least so if this lagg that doesnt let me do shit keeps on then i gues si might have to uninstall it and stop playing theres no point in playing with massive lagg every second( y si litelray mean every second i get lagg)

rofl i didnt even care about my chinese charater all i know is i was in dw and all the npc had the red scroll on top of there heads i was like wtf (with my chinese charcter)



oh i got another error i made a guikl with my chinese charcter so i can transfer leadership to my euro and it worked ( so far so good) then i invinte a couple of people some cool some not some dont talk others went me on guild grinding party my guild got filled quick since i gave everyone join
then i tried to kick somone out of the guild and nothing happen o.o not even a message he still in the guild and then i ask for him to leave and he wont o.o so i got a guild half filled with people i dont want can i cant ban them T.T i also tried giving leadership back to my chinese charcter nothing happeed as well =/

Another problem:
After clicking start, gameguard and SRO_client would load but closes right after.

everything is fine only problem i got everytime i get the Loading Screen my
screen turn black and it silkroad close hope they fix it but im really really happy with the new book in archer skill and wiht the new party system
and stall netowork.but they will fix it and like he said you guys nevr be happy.

hahh the crit on my weapon drop 1. also game crasshes or freeze so my char died while grinding. last thing is that it took me 3 min just to launch the game and get to the login screen. good thing is chinese towns are like almost emty no lag at all.

Yeah, I agree. This update made it worst. There shouldnt even be a eSRO, chinese is the best race compared in ancient times.

me too, i dont get what everyones whining about, they're just bugs, its not the end of the freaking world, imo euro is great, its alot of fun, and because of euro and JOYMAX'S EFFORTS TO MAKE THE GAME BETTER, there are like 10X less bots, cities are almost completely empty, and im not getting ANY lag

the installer wont even work for me, i downloaded it fair and square through the torrent like they told us to, i uninstalled sro that i had and attempted to reinstall it with euro but it just makes my windows explorer close, wtf? my windows closes when i try to install it. so now de to this bs we cant even play on the old sro, thats all i wanted, i dont care bout euro, i just want sro back!

ahha you guys are lucky i cant even download it when i click the download the torrent comes up but no download is shown so wtf do i do??? i mean ive treid every thing all i have left is the forums

i love this update lv 3x doing as much 1* trades as i can before turning 40

You need to install the new client...it doesn't update through the launcher, it's too large.

Joymax shouldn't release a Farking game that has more than 7 bugs found and complained about by the community...within the first 3 hours.

Agreed, I am sticking to my level 40 Alexander server Chinese character named as my forum name if anyone would like to contact me for a guild, or someone to thief with, I just saw fit to make a Europe character and play it whenever I wanted a new game or to play an MMO that was not the Chinese SRO. (an anomaly but it happens)

I like that there are no bots, but even on a system I never had lag on before, I can barely move around town which is quite annoying

well majority of this problem is how well u have updated ur comp , now i dont get any of those errors on my comp. i have updated everything on my comp. direct x , video card , sound , runtime , .net frame - all of those on my comp are up to date

and my internet speed is super fast so i get no lag at all ( yes not even in HOTAN ) .

the only error i got was my sos bow +3 white stats have seemed to drop <- this is the only problem i got out of all the ones u mentioned. and stat drop really disappointed me

Well, a lot of people are on the silkroad official forums complaining about it, it's become an epidemic almost. I got fed up and played Counter Strike instead.

Everyone's been having problems.

Because obviously those problems are an intentional part of Europe, which will be left in for good

This is very contreversial because some people would disagree, it dosen't work for them. Others would agree because it does work for them. Then back to the Euro system. This depends on the players style of gameplay.

IMO, i played with mage and i got used to it. However, i don't think I'll be spending much time playing with my Euro char. Its kinda boring.

If you don't like the game, quit.

I have like 1 little 2 second lagg a week.
If the game crashes, you can just log-in again.
I guess the BR and crit rates will be fixed, and if they don't fix it I guess they wanted it to drop.

And what's the problem 'bout server traffic? I mean, clicking ''confirm'' when it says you are disconnected, start the game again and typ your ID and password takes about 10 seconds?

cuz there is endless traffic and overloaded servers wich makes 10-20 sec laggs evry hour if u get dc.. foget about trying to get in unless ur a stupid premi user -.-

Im sry, that sucks for the people that it happens to, but i wud say if you crash alot, yur computer has issues, and if you lag, than you connection is slow, and you PC jus isnt up to it (RAM, GPU etc). I dont have issues, i run Xfire, MSN messenger, Steam, Itunes, Peer Guardian and my anti-virus while playing SRO, and i dont have issues... so i wuldnt call the crashes a bug.. just people with PC issues

Okay, TBH, i never crash and really rarely get lag on the chinese side, but latley on my xbow, I'm going to my training spot, and it just freezes out of nowhere, and then it crashes, and i do get SOME lag SOMETIMES, but i would HARDLY call it unplayable
