ok so ive downloaded silkroad from as many places as possible now and still have had no luck with updating it after i have installed. i have everything needed to play (updated drivers, directx etc.) and i dont know whats wrong. ive tried to delete everything thats related to joymax and sro from my registry and then install but still no luck. ive tried to re-download and re-install multiple times, and ive tried different ways as well.

so i thought i would see if anyone can help me, or tell me what this error i keep getting means...

it says Silkroad.exe - Application error (ive gotten it before but it was no big deal then)

this is what it says: The instruction at "0x00e12164" referenced memory at "0x00e1264". The memory could not be "written".

then it says Click on OK to terminate the program or Click on CANCEL to debug the program.

this error comes up right after i install silkroad (ive tried v1.01 and v1.02) and the SRO launcher comes up but that error happens so it doesnt update and i cant play sro.

my graphics card is a radeon x300 series if that makes any difference

anything is appreciated =)

The latest client that is available for download is v1.100.. plz go to http://www.silkroadonline.net to download the client.

I would never recommend downloading any other client from any other sites.

ive downloaded clients from silkroadonline.net, download.com, fileplanet.com, fileshack.com and filefront.com so yeah none of the downloads or versions work -.-

but 1.00?? check the versions again i thought the old one thats on fileshack, fileplanet, and filefront was 1.01 and the new one thats the torrent download is 1.02.

it says that, but once installed and you load it up it starts to upgrade itself n thats where the 1.100 comes from.
