graphical error on the ui

So you guys know that big orb/circle in the top left of the screen? So mine doesn't display my face, instead it is just black. It has been like that for as long as I have been playing. When i am in parties, other party members have blue circles where faces should be.

Is there any way to fix this and thanks in advance.

Some other people have the same issue, could you post your computer specs?

Start > Run... > dxdiag

Intel pentium 4 cpu 3.00 ghz
1gig ram
graphics card: intel 82915g/gv/910gl express chipset (has 128 memory)
directx version 9.0c

I think it might be that my graphics card isn't really anything special. But that is odd because I can play SRO with bloom on and have only a slight decrease in framerate in towns.
