um any tips on how to fix this bug? Instead of the normal texture, there are sometimes blue areas of land where i go.

texture rendering is controlled by your vid card. So did you updated your (vid) drivers?

yep it is, and i downloaded some updates for the Intel drivers a few days ago on my computer but its still there. The game used to run fine before i formatted the computer a couple of weeks ago.

Press the tab "Monitor". There you can see your chipset and your Graphic card.

The display tab? It says the chip type is
Intel (R) 82865G Graphics Controller

Well prob you already installed the lastest driver:
http://majorgeeks.com/Intel_Chipset_Sof ... d1667.html
But 82865G Graphics Controller runs on DX6, Currently XP is on 9.0c and vista on DirectX 10.0. And a new driver wont be a bether driver then a old driver.
Im not sure if you got a AGP card now or a on-board vid card. There seems to be 2 versions. What do you have?
