cant start up the game

silk road pops up then when i click "start" some nprotect gameguard pops up and then i get a "microsoft visual c++ runtime library" alert saying this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
wadd do i dooooooooo :shock:

i tried the nprotect error solution but i couldnt find anything when i searched for it in my reg so i just dled the link nprotect and still getting the same error i downloaded a copy of silkroad off of another site the first time i tried maybe that has somthing to do with it?

Download it from the official site, and use flaffy or fluffy or neffy or whatever it's called, i heard it's real fast.

no i already have downloaded it from the real site but im just saying the fact that i downloaded the shitty one first might have screwed it up
