Hey guys,

I have this problem with logging in, yes yes everyone gets this 'Disconnected to the server' thing but every time I get a 'Cannot connect to the server due server traffic', I get the Disconnected to the Server exactly 5 seconds after that!

This really, really decreases my chances of getting in, it takes really, really long to get in, and I get really, really pissed

I still can remember though that is used to be like this:
Type in info
Cannot connect etc etc...
Then you click Connect again
And repeat this until
OR you get in
OR you get disconnected

Well I can't do this 'cause I get automaticly disconnected 5 seconds after a failed connect

Gawd someone plz help me T_T Is it a problem with the internet/host etc etc?

Are u sure? I play this since may 06 and i never could do that...

Huh? Well I'll say it more detailed:

This happens to others:

1. Type in name
2. Type in password
3. Hit 'Connect'
4. Type Confirmation Code
5. Hit 'Confirm'
6. Wait for a while and one of the two will happen:
-You will log into the game at a certain (low) % of success
-You will most likely get the 'Cannot connect to the server due server traffic' error', the next thing you do is hit 'Connect' again.
Repeat this if neccesary to get into the game.

Also at a certain (high) %, you will get the 'Disconnected to the Server' error. You will have to push confirm and the client/game closes automaticly.

This happens to ME

1. Type in name

Unlike others, I automaticly get the 'Disconnected to the Server' within EXACTLY 5 SECONDS

WHICH MEANS I ONLY HAVE 1 CHANCE EACH TIME I START UP THE GAME AND IT IS VERY HARD TO GET IN THIS WAY BELIEVE ME

ya same. I just started playing, and just randomly I was d/c'd then when I tried to log back in the same exact thing happened. They wont even let my try to connect a second time.

excalty what happens to me and my friend, we got so fed up with it we save the few seconds and if we get a "cannot connect to server" we just hit exit

I tried making a new acc to see what would happen...no dice

Maybe Ill try a new MMORPG? Anyone know another one as good as Silkroad? Damn this is pissing me off!

i guess you could try wow if u have the money or rappelz which is free

I have played WoW for about a year. Then I quit coz it got so repetitive. Ill look at rappelz.

if u dont like rappelz u could try scions of fate but its a little more cartoony

I keep hearing about a new game called 2Moons coming out (30 june), sounds like its going to be a big competition to silkroad cause it have awesome graphics and pretty much same gameplay as SRO i've seen screenshots and videos to it (check youtube) but its a bit darker/gloomier than silkroad and dont have the famous and well-beloved thief-hunter-trader triangular conflict, which is the main reason why i'm being patient with SRO so far, no other game i heard of has this awesome detail.

Hey hey hey guys, stay with the problem! Don't give up yet and think of switching to another game, try to find out how to make SilkRoad playable again!

And man... i did always get DC if "Cannot connect due the server traffic" in first time... no matter if i click Connect again... is not a new problem, was always like is now.

it happens to everyone cannot connect to due to server traffic....a few seconds later disconnected from server either you get in the first time or restart the client it sucks but thats how it is lol
