Constantly Having Screen Freezes & Reboot [auto] Problem
I will face the problem of constantly screen freezes + reboot [it will reboot itself after few secs of screen freezes, system hang] during the game. Here's my com specification:
Processor: Pentium(R) 4 2.66 GHz
RAM: 2 x 512: 1 GB of RAM
Graphic Card: ATI Radeon 9200 Series
Platform: Windows XP Service Pack 2
Monitor: Acer V771 CRT plug and play Monitor
so, can anyone tell me what to do to solve the problem i currently facing!!
p.s: I don't have this problem playing any other 3d game like counter strike, max payne2 and etc.

Well there are many reasons for system freezing or reboot.
Did u try system configuration utility (msconfig) and remove start up items and then check?
Please lemme know if ur not sure on how to do it.

It's most likely that your graphics card is overheating. Check your graphics card temperatures. (Should be stated in Catalyst Control Center). If it's above 90 degrees than that is the problem.
Also, what settings are you using, and what do you use as a monitor.

the ATI Radeon 9200 series has this problem with the game - it's not overheating, since it can run other heavy-duty games without this problem. I'm not sure but when I had my 9200 it would normally happen when an Ice-using Archer combined his attacks and was on-screen. I suggest you try lowering the graphics as much as you can, especially visual effects, it might help.
Note: You can also cancel the auto-reboot, but doing so will not help much - the card will resport to other means of 3d rendering (from directX to OpenGL ro DirectDraw), but after the third time this happens will you have to restart manually anyway to get the card to work again.
If you do wish to cancel the auto-reboot, go to Control Panel>System>Advanced tab>Seetings button (under Recovery and Settings) and uncheck the option "Automatically Restart", then hit OK.

System has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. The cause is ati2avg..... and infinite loop in blah blah blah!!!
and it asks me to update my driver!! but, i've already updated to the newest driver!

Hi there Don't belive BSOD (blue screen of death) information. If you can please after next Blue screen write down stop number
You got at the top some information such as System_Machine_Check
Memory_fail or other information and line down some numbers appears
please write whole number information. I've got several times problems with ATI's in my work but not on a game. When I used about couple of hours Photoshop and Corel Draw sometimes computer freezes.
The cause may be too many sh**t in system tray but I think the problem is with your mbo/ram/gpu compatibility When I changed memory modules to Kingston from Goodram System stability returned. But as I said post BSOD serial

I was changing my graphic card from radeon 9250 to 9550 yesterday. and it(9550) is even worst than before(9250)... i mean i get my screen freezes + system hang during the log-in screen with radeon 9550! After that, i go and purchase the other display card from different manufacture - nVidia, fx5200 and it is working fine for now! I have not face the screen freezes + system hang problem yet since I changed to nVidia.

As someone already said, it has to be the GFX card temperature.
I overclocked a shitty FX5200 and put a fan on it, I still get freezes sometimes, but I'd rather have freezes and good FPS than no freezes and shitty FPS. OR I could just go and buy a new Card xD
