every time i put in my info. and hit connect it goes right to image verification but then i click confirm it says too much trafic then it disconnects me right away

If I remember right from when Silkroad online worked for me, Tuesday was a very busy day. (I think they update it every tuesday?)

Tuesday isn't busier than any other week-day. In fact it's even easier to log in on Tuesday right after the update.
The error you are getting is just what it says - "Cannot connect due to server traffic" - You can't connect because the server is too full. On GMT times, try after 10pm or before 11am. It's much easier to log in at those times.
