I got a friend in the Marines, he's stationed in Japan right now.
He's on a mediatti.net ISP connection.

He can't access http://www.silkroadonline.net
He can't access the game, at all. Gives the inspection error

The game won't even attempt to patch.

He CAN however, access http://joymax.nefficient.com/
The download site.

any solutions?

this has been circulating the offical forum for quite a while, for people being unable to login to Silkroad Online.

I would think his ISP is unable to reach joymax. You mentioned he was unable to load silkroad's web page, another user had the same problem and it's highly probably that the problem is the ISP.

Read the entire topic... damn that blows.

He's using someone elses connection atm, once he gets online and gets ready to setup his pc i'ma tell em NOT to get that isp the other dormie gots >_>
