Can't Play The Game

Ok...OK..
I just downloaded the client and want to play the game. I clicked start game and it went to gameguard....then my computer restarted...
Somebody plz help.

This sounds interesting.
Did you ever see that little silkroad box after the gameguard?
and does this happen everytime?

I have the same Problem but mi comp doesn't restart, I didn't see anything after gameguard and mi comp acts like gameguard is on but with no icon on the taskbar; and yes it happens everytime.

If the computer restarts it's either a hardware or driver issue.
I don't know why Silkroad wouldn't start after gameguard, perhaps you have an old version of the client or an incomplete version. Maybe the patch failed, did you try to reinstall silkroad?

i have version 1.040 and it updated today so i think it is complete

After the gameguard thing silkroad will load, which can take a while.
you have a lamp or something on your computer which flashes orange or so after the gameguard? maybe it just can't find that .exe file..

after gameguard, so_client disapears from my task launcher, the only thing that happenes after is the pointer turns to the loading version... then reverts to the original
EDIT: im pretty sure it doesn't work... its been trying for 30 minutes now...
