Silkroad Online Launcher has stopped working...

does anyone have a fix for this problem i get? When i open silk road as admin a little box pops up saying...
'Silkroad Online Launcher has stopped working...
A problem has caused the problem to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avalible.'
Can anyone help?

have you tried reinstalling the game yet?

Uninstall, reinstall, try again. Still doesn't work, new game.

thanks guys, im currently downloading it again! (running slowest ever at 24KB/s) I cant wait to play again. I have to start over im just wondering what character i should do. What one is the best in the long run? (ill be farming) thanks guys

ok.. next time you download it, burn it on a cd/dvd/external harddisk.
i hate to redownload installs

it doesnt work! I re-downloaded it and i get the same message when i try to open the game from the icon on the desktop. Any more ideas?

Okay, try going to you hard disk C, then program files, silkroad, and try starting the launcher from there. Sometimes the launcher on the desktop doesn't work when the game patches. I don't have vista, so that might be your problem.

OMFG why didnt you say you had vista in the first post?
and i remember ppl posting here about sro on vista like a week ago..
i will try find it. -_-
