i have been trying to play silkroad but when ever i try an play it comes up

Connecting to GameGuard update server has failed. try again later,
or try adjusting any personal firewall settings
i have tried every thing i have reinstalled redownloaded it 3 times
adjusted my firewall settings is ther a way to fix it

Uninstall your bot and the files that you used to install your bot.

Step 1: ignore dom.
Step 2: delete the Gameguard folder (should be in c:/program files/silkroad/) and relaunch the game.

This usually fixes gameguard update errors. It will redownload and repatch gameguard.

i have done that it still dont work

i had smthng like that...look in "windows/system32/drivers/etc" a file named "HOSTS", open it with notepad. if you have something there related with gameguard..delete it.. basicly all what you should have there is "127.0.0.1 localhost".
