i cannot connt to the sever

for some reason everytime i boot the game i get to the pick a sever part all the servers r crowded
i click on any of the and it says
Cannot connect to sever [c8]
is anyone the i need hlp

check your router and/or firewall to make sure thats the server ports are open, there is a list of ports somewhere in these threads (use forum search)

yeah.. i have the same problem, umm i looked around i couldn't find the ports, so if you could post those please.

kk I found a fix.
Start>>Control Panel>>Windows Firewall>>Exceptions>>Add Program(Silkroad)

Are you using a router? Is this on a network that is not yours?

Are you connecting through a college network, or a network which you do not pay for and administrate?

Hey I'm getting that c8 error also. I read on elitepvpers.de that you can add this line to your C:\Windows\System32\hosts file and it should correct the error:
127.0.0.1 gwgt1.joymax.com
.......It hasn't worked for me
but other ppl have said that it worked. Mabe you will get lucky
Open the hosts file with notepad.
About my c8 error. Its frustrating
Anyone have any ideas??
