I had to reinstall sro, now it wont auto update just freezes....

When does it freeze, what does it say, etc...

doesnt say anything just freezes no error, doesnt start updating

Does the load screen pop up, or what? When exactly does it freeze.

Does the START button appear? I would assume that it just isn't connecting to the SRO server. Try the HOSTS fix (stickied, and found elsewhere in this forum), or try to restart your modem for a new WAN IP.

Try removing the IP's from your host file, I tried the fix as well, and it completely screwed up my update. I find my SRO works better with the default HOST file.

Got it, i deleted the everything to do with sro in regedit and it works..
