god damn it everytime i try to play silkroad , after it updates , i click play it loads dissapears then it says
Runtime Error!

Abnormal program termination

this is really pissing me off
and i asked this before but some one jus gave me the link to some http in google , that does not help at all , if u try to suggest a link , please give me a link that works

I posted a topic with solutions to like, 7 common errors, please check that post first, if it doesn't work, then I will be more than happy to work with you to solve this issue.

um im not sure witch one is it , so can u restate it for me if that isnt to much trouble? and i didnt see anything with the abnormal thing in ur 7 soultions

The abnormal runtime error is usually brought on by graphical issues, stemming from DirectX. SilkRoad Mods say to download the DX9 SDK package from Microsoft, but that will not solve the issue.

I propose you install the latest drivers for your graphics card, ensure you have DirectX 9.0c installed, and check your northbridge drivers (Intel/nVidia/VIA), and that they are up to date. The northbridge handles all GPU interfacing between the CPU and the rest of your system, and could cause errors too.

If all of the former is in check, I suggest you set your computer 3D settings to minimal, and run SRO in minimal graphics, set by the Option menu on the load screen.

i have meet this problem also, runtime error, abnormal program termination, i try to resolve it but until now i cant. i'm using acer travelmate4050 Intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphic controller. can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?? please.......
