XXL Lag

I am having a lot of lag. I had it before the last patch but not that bad as now. One example is click on a monster to attack it and my character walks to it and than nobody moves for about 10-15 seconds and when i start moving again i am ,most of the times, dead becouse autopot doesnt work than. I dont have any idea if it is becouse of my comp or my internet connenction. I have : radeon 9600xt 256, amd 1900+.512ddr. My internet connection is a 64k. i asked around and someone said the lag is not becouse of the slow connenction. Can someone pls help resolve my problem

Do you use a wireless router?

When was the last time you restarted your modem?

Do you have background programs running?

i guess i have a wireless router,becouse i am on GPRS. I managed to reduce the lag a bit, i found out that my antivirus was scanning my hard drives all the time so i disabled that and now i have less lag. I didnt know i can restart the modem lol. I will do that now

You feal like lagin? Check this out then tommorow when servers was only populated I was shooting some Bunwangs (I wasn't on ISRO like 2 months) played like 30 minutes and then I got freezed I couldn't move couldn't hit only use potions but Bunwang was hitting me again again and again. Then potions stop to respond but bunwang kept punching me till I died. After that I tried to ressurect in the town. And you know what? I couldn't ! So my dog died to. You may ask why I didn't just exit a game? Answer is simple like whole my story I couldn't. I quit the game by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL. So I decided to quit ISRO and move to KSRO cause if I die there I know what it's my fault not because of lag

i understand why Damix he wrote that. Last night when i finaly logged in i had to press the magic combination "CTRL+ALT+DELETE" and than i had to kill the silkroad process becouse my character was standing still and getting hitted and ofcourse autopotion wasnt working so i was also very angry. I tryed restarting te router but that didnt help.any more advices would help.

when i had a wireless network i got very bad lag and often disconnects but after getting a hard line sro runs extremely well even on max settings and my pc is not that good

geforce 6800
1gig ram
2.0ghz processor(not 64bit)
