Right i downloaded this game three days ago and on the first day got heavily into this game, however now that im starting to enjoy the game.

i can try and log in once fully (with the anti bot code), then it will say cannot connect due to server traffic and when i go to try log on again it boots me off the game.

earlier on in a post some1 gave a list of problems that it could be......

List possible problems not blame:

ISP - fine even checkd and replace micro filters in house
Computer - bloody fine only reformatted this week!!!!
Keyboard Frustration - hardly been trying nicely to get on for few days and now im starting to loose my rag
bad connection to servers - possible but that would be there server side i can ping there website very nice.


so this leaves me scratching my head..... any1 help ? ( btw all firewalls have been turned off to test if that was problem but unfortunatly does the same )

could some1 get back to me asap ??? because im really getting ****d off now

from this point, silkroad is a really huge pile of crap. i'm pretty sure this IS NOT client's fault and i even find it hard to believe, that the servers are always crowded. why the hell can't they expand the friggin slots or launch more servers? are the programmers that lousy, or they enjoy pissing off users with exiting from game on unsuccessful log in? i'm pretty patient person and i don't get all angry about stuff like games, but this really drives you mad

if it wasn't for the stupid image verification, i'd be written software to connect to the servers for me, but now it's pretty tough to accomplish that. nevertheless, while i'm connected and only standing there - sometimes it drops me a dialog, saying "Disconnected because of network insecurity". the least they could do is tell me they have ..... up servers, which would explain a lot more.

so, if possible, once you connect, don't log off as long as possible and stay online with minimized game or however you like it.

Such a great game ruined by one lousy Problem i got the same and i've checked everything indeed but NO HELP!!

This isn't a problem. It is just how the game was coded, and has been working this way since day 1.

When you run Silkroad, and you enter your UName, PWord, then hold Enter, it will attempt to connect you with a 4 second delay. As soon as you connect, other users are connecting with you. At the image verification, the first user (as far as logic goes, but this is an ineffable process) to enter the code properly will connect. If you do not connect after the image verification, it will ALWAYS disconnect you, so it is faster to just click Exit and re-try. This happens to everyone.
