Hey I just downloaded SilkRoad last nite and when i clicked on the icon on my desktop, it loads for like a minute then shows this error
Image

I tried this :
1. Go to C/Windows/system32/drivers/etc
2. Open hosts with notepad
3. Add 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com under 127.0.0.1 localhost
4. Save and open Silkroad.
From the "The Big technical Thread" but after i save it, is it supposed to be a .txt file? Or what do i save it as? 'Cause i tried it, with it as a .txt, and it didn't work. Anyone know how i can fix this? Thankz in advance

Here is what my hosts file looks like :

# Copyright © 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
127.0.0.1 localhost
121.128.133.26 gwgt1.joymax.com
80.15.232.4 nprotect.nefficient.com
Is it supposed ot be a Text document? Or is it supposed to look this way at all >_> If not, can anyone tell me how to fix it. Thankz if you can :)

maaaaaybe...the server was under inspection lol. Does it work now? Btw was your internet connection working at the time cuz if it wasn't, it will say that. You could also be behind a software or hardware firewall that's blocking it or you're at a school where they block the port it uses or....okay so there's over a million possibilities when your comp can't connect like that.
