computer problems...

ok so when my computer starts the graphics are all crazy with pink and blue colors and the print is all cut of...
Windows wont start in regular mode i have to start it on safe mode. And when i do the icons are all huge and windows is on classic mode.
It wont connect to the internet, and it wont play my music.
When in safe mode when i log in to my account it gives me an error saying its missing a file and the name is somthing like //HP/... cant remember it. But should i reinstall windows and see if it works, but at the same time i dont want to lose all my music and pictures.
ohh and i did try System Restore and it didnt work.
PLZ some help or suggestions.
