Big D/C problem... please help

Ok so it's been about 6 months since I've played SRO. finally I had some time to get back into it so I bought a Gold Ticket and started playing. Problem is.. every 10 minutes or so I get D/C. It is really starting to piss me off, since I spent money on a gold ticket that I can't get any use out of. I have tried several things such as turning off my firewall (McAfee), I've updated my drivers to my network card. My brother and I share an internet connection (cable) and are both running on the same router He has no problems at all! Please can some one help me I'm going insane here.. :banghead:

Try rebooting into safe mode (reboot and hit F8), then select Safe Mode with Networking. See if it plays in there.
