ok here is what happen after the inspection period was over in Feb, 6, 2007

i couldnt log in to the game even after updating it now i have version 1.090

but it showing me server is under inspection , my other computer work fine with this game and they both use the same internet connection.

i tried everything i even deleted my firewall and my anti virus programs still nothing happened.

when i ran the computer in safe mode i see the start bottom in the game but
it dosnt work cuz it is in safe mode

so plz guys help me fast

Update your lmhost file.

If you don't know how to do that, do a search for lmhost. The one on this site only have 1 IP address on it and it's old. The new one I found on SRO Forum have 4 and that's what I used.

ok my SRO works now the only way that did it is be formatting my computer and reinstall windows

also make sure ur Ip address doesnt conflict with other computer y i don't know

I am having this problem since two days ago, I must have reinstalled like 3-6 times. But it still keep giving me this error.

I got client 1.59 or something I tried to patch it manualy but manual patch is only for 1.6x to 1.6x. where can I get dood intallation files.

I don't wanna format and install windowz again. Is there anyway I can solve this does anyone know about it.

Pls, help me.

wat I learned is that its ur ISP not letting traffic from Asian places becuz there is ALOT and I mean ALOT of hackers and they CCF and all that crap so all traffic to asia and korea and all that is blocked at least for me. IM PISSED!!!

BTW duz anyone know how to play silkroad thru a proxy? I hear that my fix it. THANX ALOT!

ok when u reinstall the game try to update the game in " safe mode with network connection" it should update without troubles . iam from USA so i don't know if they block ur isp or something

I had this problem some time before too.. But it got fixed alone by itself.. Next day

But yeah screw this, I'm w8ing 1week already , I will do it tomorrow ..

On top of that, in the last month there has been a few follow up inspections of certain servers.

on top of that, you just need to be patient. If you can wait till the next day, you should be able to get back online.

well.... Im stuck at version 1.062 And it wont update or show a start button. Ive done these steps

Ive done the "Host" Crap
Ive turned off my fire wall
My router can support this game

What else is it? Im feeling like i cant play this game because of some crappy thing that happened.

When will it be up?

When i try to play it on non-safe mode the start icon wont appear.

Bleh... I was having so much fun on this game then... *POOF* I Got screwed over.
