I'm wondering if it's possible to switch user on XP without having to close silkroad. Reason I'm asking this is sometimes my mom wants to get on while I'm playing, and if I close there's always the risk that it will be hard to reconnect, and if I don't close it and switch user, it lags very bad and ends up getting closed by itself anyway.
Anybody know a way to keep it open while I'm on a different user?

Usually, if you're going to be switching user accounts, it's best (if you have a few mins), to put everything down as far as you can regarding graphics, turn off sounds, etc. Also, zoom in and look at the ground. That will use up the minimum amount of sys-requirements as you can and *should* help a teensie bit.
But it also pends on your system, the processor, memory, what all you have running etc.
