Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error. Please help

When ever I start SRO this error pops up...

This is happening to me too. I got the "?????????" errors originally then updated video driver, now this. Reinstalled 3 or 4 times.

I get this too on a spare computer I'm trying to use. I JUST reformatted Windows XP on it, and even though I grabbed all of the latest drivers and Windows updates, I still get this error.

I found a thread dedicated to fixing this issue. It's caused by video card drivers. Unfortunately, the computer I'm attempting to get Silkroad to run on has a Rage 128 Pro, and there will be no hope for me to get it to run it because of this issue.
