Silkroad Online Forums

Hello, I want to play Silkroad but I'm having trouble getting the game to start up. The game downloads and installs fine, but when I double-click the .exe icon to start the game up the login screen appears for a split second then just dissappears, and after that everytime I click it nothing happens.

I've tried different drivers for my GFX card and MB (ones from Silkroads main site were actually alot older than the ones I was using but I tried them anyway) and I've been thumbing through posts on this and other sites but I can't seem to find any solutions.

Please help me out, thank you.

make sure all compatible..coz things go "poof" and gone are related to aint compatible to your computer. do you have any 1.6 below patch? i cant download one in fileplanet.com

Are you talking about the version of the game? I tried using the manual patcher from the SRO site but it says that it only works with something like version 1.60-1.63 or something like that and won't update the game.

I have not been able to find any other version anywhere so far: if that is what you're talking about.
