Ok. This is getting really annoying, and I know several people who stopped playing SRO because they got SICK, and I mean SICK, from the 'Disconnected from Server' message, game stops, start game, enter name, enter password, try to connect 10 times, 'disconnected from server', repeat till times up or (if you are REALLY lucky) you get in.

please.. make a counter (272 people before you, average waittime 12 minutes or something). Show a 'server too busy' message in the bottom. But dont let us restart the game. Thats sick.

it takes me an average of 20 minutes.. Just to get IN. This is not funny anymore.. People are leaving their chars logged in, because they HATE to relog.. this is making people leave SRO. I am thinking to quit to..

nice game, but whats the joke with the login..

I believe I've already said it in another thread, but for times such as this, having single player games (or other MMOs) helps in dealing with not being able to log in and play SRO. I alternate between Unreal Tournament 2004 and X-Men Legends II myself.

Perhaps that's an option for you?

If not, then.. I would suggest.. taking a break from the computer? I've been waiting for seven plus hours to log in, and I'm posting here and gaming elsewhere to pass the time.

If you still insist on leaving SRO, then I hope you have fun with whatever game that takes SRO's place. That's what a game is for: fun, not frustration.

or do what can be done. they want u to play there game.. so tell them about it..

i hate it when ya gotta do all that jsut to log in and get on server and only a 1/4 are MOVING and playing.
i say kick the idles.. if your idle for say 45 min or so.. the game auto kicks you.. disconnects you fom server.. many other online games do this..
americas army, etc..

i do understand that the week ends and hoilidays there are alot of foringers palyin sro.. and getting there fix in and i respect that.


but heck .. let some palyers paly.. dont let these idles stay on the server.. its cloggs it..
sure there will be wait time.. but alot less wait time...


and the idea of a thing telling u u haveto wait 3 mins to log in woul dbe nice..

It is very frustrating. I have been trying to log in to Olympus for over 4 hours!!!
This is the first time in a month that it has taken longer than 20 minutes!!

Perhaps there will be a compensation event for all those who could not log in during the compensation event

Almost tempted to go back to Guild Wars


Logging in now takes almost as long as levelling but is more boring!
