Please help... ok, i updated the patch on silkroad automatically... i try to get on silkroad.. but the screen where you sign in your username and password is just... BLACK. So, i reinstall silkroad 2 times, only to find the same results... Then, i try to update the patch manually... and it says, "Client version that is installed is 1.066. Cannot find patch with version 1.065 version manual patch." ok, so it appears that the game i installed is one point ahead from the patch needed... so where do i install the 1.065 version?? please help....

it added a ton of code for vertex shading in the manual patch. Trust me, I ripped it apart, and I know exactly what's in it Go to your graphics card's manufacturer like Nvidia or ATI and do a search for a driver for your exact card and download and install it. If the latest drvers don't work, your card is now officially too old to play and you should get a new one. For like $40-50 you can get an Nvidia MX 4000

It's a nice, reasonably fast for the price card that I know can run SRO pretty well. I think they make a PCI version too if you don't have an AGP slot.

NEVER download a patch from a site other than SRO. Mod plz delete that post, it's a trojan from some stupid foreign morons
