serious lag?

Post by amazn »

i dunno if its joymax or me, but ever since the manual patch i installed, i have a 3-5 sec delay for everything in game. clicking a pot takes 3-5s to activate, same as skills or movement and chat. this goes for logging out, i click the exit game button, wait 3 secs then the popup shows the countdown

is there a remedy for this?

I have been experiance some lag when moving pots about my inventory, but thats about it. The gameplay itself actually seems to be going at smoothing framerates. But the moving of items in my inventory is sometimes extremely slow at operating.

i too am having this problem and it's really annoying...before the patch i am able to play just fine, after the patch i can't seem to do anything without a nasty few seconds delay...i know it's not my computer or connection cause i've been able to play my other games just fine, did a speed test online as well which turned out normal...is anyone else having this problem? any solutions? or all of a sudden i need a new video card? or is it due to too many people on the server causing lag? please help...

Definately a bit more laggy than normal. I am on TW/Adelphia and was just able to connect normally on Monday. There are also many more people in Venice, so that could be it. At least for me.

I turned off the shadows, but that didn't seem to help too much.

about 5% of the people are actually getting the non-manual version of the manual patch from the server, the other 95% just freeze up and never see the start button cuz it gives it like 2 mins to timeout on downloading the patch. Now why can't 200,000 players download the patch autmatically but 200,000 players can download the patch from the website? I think it's cuz the patches are actually downloaded directly from the game servers. So if they're lagging, it's because they're being maxed out by people downloading the patch through normal means.

if thats the case, when is it gonna stop lagging? anytime soon before the event is over? whatever is causing this abnormal lag needs to be dealt with...4th day of compensation and i've not been able to play since the patch was released thus having been compensated for my time and money spent before this incident...though not everyone is having this problem with the frame rate lowered significantly, i hope joymax isn't ignoring this...i'm very dissapointed and frustrated...not a happy customer...
