Allright..... WTF IS WRONG....so many people are blaming adelphia and Joymax. The people on the forum that are trying to figure this crap out and ACTUALLY TRYING to solve something. Now... lets do a little research... post what you learned here and THEN draw a conclusion on who's fault this is and what we can ACTUALLY do to play this game... After that we can blame, spam, whine and complain to the guys who messed this game up!!!!!

How can you prove that?
If you can, fine and dandy. But I am guessing you cannot.

All the other ISPs have no problem. Adelphia chooses its backbone provider, if it is farther down the line, the still make the choice. If the DNS works for 99/100 other ISPs, clearly the problems with it do not prohibit the proper operation of it.

The company formerly known as Adelphia owned its own backbone.
The problem is 100% non DNS. I cannot stress that enough. For the problem to be DNS related you must be able to surf to the site via IP address. No one can do that. I can't understand what people do not get about that.
There is something routing. I cannot tell whos fault it is. But there are multiple providers that cannot access the site. Most likely due to the fact that they all have the same Level 1 providers who are having problems accessing the routing table in Korea.
See my other posts for proof other companies are having problems.

Actually not only Adelphia. There are more providers who care about security and don't broadcast malfunctioning DNS

Well..... from what Ive been reading, it seems like the 3 smartest people here are Desolator, alittlebird and anamosity. Why dont you get in a Teamspeak server, AIM chatroom, or something and use all of your knowledge and see what you can do when you all try to work together and solve something.

Let me know when they work for / have access to Adelphia.

What is happening with Adelphia (and other?) users? They just can't access
http://www.silkroadonline.com, or can't connect to the game? I definitely agree with alittlebird. The only thing DNS does is translate between IP addresses and domain names in a web URL. So when you access an address like
http://www.silkroad.com, your computer will ask the DNS servers what the IP address is for the site and forward you to it. So if users can browse to the IP address, but not the URL, then it would be a fault in DNS, but if the IP address fails too, then DNS is not at fault.
I just haven't been following the threads of people complaining about Adelphia to know what the issue is. Then again, I don't use Adelphia.
