Lag

Hi ppl!
Im totally new to this game so this is probably some stupid question about something i forgot im my setup.
But when i play i lag like hell, it often takes 3+ sec for the game to respond when i perform an action like moving of attacking monsters.
I dont lag in any other games and i got 2mbit connection.
Can it be something with the location of the servers and my location ? (I live in Denmark)
Hope someone can help me out so i can get started on playing
