C++ error??

ok when i run silkroad i get this error. no clue what it is. and i hoped that updatin my driver to a newer vr would help. but i cant seem to find that newer version. my graphics driver is Nvidia RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro and i have 9.0C installed. Here is exaclly what the error says. and ideas on how to fix this prob??

i have tried that already. i get another error when i try that it says " The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate and drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will not exit. and this is the right driver for my graphics card. help!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

well that usually happens when either the C++ runtime library or the sro executable file gets hosed up. They're each about equally as likely but it's easier to reinstall SRO so try that one first :) or if U don't want to download the entire 500+ MB installer, I copied all 4 .exe files from the C:/program files/silkroad/ folder on my computer and put em in a zip file that you can download here:

just unzip them and put them in the C:/program files/silkroad/ folder and tell it yes you want to replace the ones that are there.
It's possible a patch got currupted during download and patched one of your .exe files wrong so they don't run anymore and that's what would cause your problem. Hope that fixes it :)

well i just replaced the video card with a crap one. and it worked. so its the software. if you guys can find me the software for the vid card about i would greatly appreicate it. :)

well desolater144, i have the same problem as cptsamir. But it doesn't work! I've done the thing that you said you must do if you have the C++ problem..do you know another way? OR SOMEBODY HELP ME!

i get that error on campus....really annoying when u dont feel like doing work and it keeps popping up -_-
