I just went to Earthlink - 3 months $10. I can play!!! When SRO gets straight, I'll cancel it.

Actually, I have no more lag than with my Adelphia cable HSI.....now, updates may take longer, but I CAN PLAY while SRO gets their stuff together.

with Road Runner from Time Warner you get free dial up access from anywhere with your cable connection, just look for dial access on road runner's website and it finds the best local number and connects 
In theory, that shouldn't work but in practice, they use almost completely AOL's servers for it since they merged so it may or may not work.

lots of people asked so, the site for that is http://dialaccess.rr.com/ but do read the part where it says "Not currently available in former Adelphia markets."
