SILKROAD DOWN FOR GOOD?

I live in the US and since Sept 12th at hte last sever check I havn't been able to get on SILK. MY friends who live in Cali are having the same problem. The site wont show up at all and when we click to open the program it says Under SERVER CHECK OR DOWN n blah blah then the mini screen pops up blank. Does anyone knows whats going on?
