Silkroad encountered a problem & needs to close

When i try to play silkroad online, it says it has encountered a problem & needs to close. Now this never used to happen but it might be because my new pc is dual core. I have an intel core2duo E6600 (yes i know its pr0) so maybe my cpu is too good for the game, anyone got any ideas?
