I switch on my computer, launch Silkroad, then it appears.

What can I do to solve this? I've searched on google, and hardly any relevant information is there for me to read about it, anyone have suggestions I would appreciate it. :?

Right-click the image placeholder and go to properties, then highlight the link, and copy it into your adress bar....

It wasnt loading at the time, no matter copying the address or viewing the thread, the host wasnt loading for me.

Anyway, have you tried reinstalling sro and such?

"GameGuard initialization error : 230

GameGuard initialization error : 230"

That is the error message, sorry about the image hosting service.

I have tried re-installing Silkroad, but I'll try again, funnily enough, before all of these updates I didn't receive any kind of GameGuard error, but now everyone seems to suffer.

Any suggestions :)

its just an error u got to wait out....it will work...but seems to be a problem that comes in spurts as I get it ALL THE TIME to.

I tried a few tuts on bypassing the guard completly but none of em actually work for me.....but others say it worked for them. I hate it...causes so many problems.

If you have an ATI video card and version 6.8 of the drivers you WILL get the error 230 if you install CCC (control panel). Uninstall it or older drivers and the error might disappear. This might not be the source of YOUR problem but one of possible sources.

Hmm thank you for replying, and thanks for discussing it is veeerrry annoying I must admitt. Yeah...I noticed since I installed ATI 6.8 with CCC, it started to happen, I will reinstall 6.6 or 6.7 and reply back to this topic.
