Trying to log-in and getting disconnected, now all of a sudden, my client cannot connect to the gameguard update server and will produce a ????-error and an additional 340 Gameguard error.

GamerGuard error : 340

Connecting to GameGurd update server has failed. Try again later, or try adjusting any personal firewall settings.

Thinking no firewall settings were changed in that timeframe, something must be up with the server.

Am i the only one having these problems?

Hmmm. Here is to hoping they (shady bot-makers) are not doing a denial of service attack on the gameguard server.

Edit: http://eng.nprotect.com/ looks very much so like a molten server

renamed my gameguard folder, tried to login: nothing.
It created a new one. Seems gameguard servers are down.

yea i have the same problem, it was working beautifully yesterday

-Tried checking thesettings on my firewalls and anitviruse...All ok: Didnt work

-deleted GameGuard folder: Didnt work

-restarted comp: didnt work

im having the same trouble too, i was playing and then i installed zone alarm and it stopped working. I removed zone alarm and restored the system but i still am getting that error. Its strange, i have zone alarm on my other computer and no problem with playing silkroad

it has to be a gameguard server error, if we all are getting it..

was playing like an hour and a bit ago and burnt a dvd, got some food and i have the same problem... guessing theres gonna be loads of us like that... we can only hope there will be a compensation event for it glad im not the only one with the problem though *phew*

Was looking on the forums on the silkroad website, quite a few people are suffering with the same problem... that makes me feel a lot better was about to throw the computer out the window

uh.... ihad the same error, i went and uninstalled and reinstalled gamguard for sro, then i went and added the gamgaurd ip on my drivers thing.

now i have the same exactly error only that its 380 insted of 340......

grrrr

All the people in the world are suffering this shit problem, why ? The servers are down ? Why ? Only God knows What can we do ? Sit down and pray they will fix the problem in no time...

I tried another game which uses Game Guard as well and it works. So this must be an SRO only problem.

I have a 4 week gold ticket so i hope they fix it soon so i cna play again and not waste it

Happening to me too.

I only get to play after 9pm GMT as the server is full any other time. Hope the problem is fixed soon.

I tried another game which uses Game Guard as well and it works. So this must be an SRO only problem.

Its True i checked the ports for communication with the internet and the have contact. Its problaby the client that sends the information to the SRO server where you get the confurmation that you have the right to login. So antother SRO error. Dont blame GG

same problem. playing one minute and the next i get ?????????? error. good to know im not the only oone but the more updates they run, the more i DC. i have a brand new Pentium 4 and all that upgraded stuff. i hope they fix it because my bro and I finally are getting to fight togethor on it.

It IS GG, for it cannot connect to its server to authenticate your connection. I can't believe this is happening
