well...i installed Windows XP to the computer and had to install Silkroad again....so when i installed it and tried to open the launcher it gives this message " Silkroad.exe has encountered a problem and have to close. Sorry for the inconven.... " =/ i just dont understand why....i tried to do what another post said : change the compabilities to windows 98/ME and it still gives the same message... my graphics card is ok....everything's ok with my computer....can i know how to solve this??????????? i cant stop playing silk....so 100K for the one who finds out how to resolve it

Try this: go to Windows/System32/drivers/etc
then open the file named hosts with notepad, then delete the last line that probably says 127.0.0.1 localhost and instead of it write this: 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com localhost
save the changes, restart the computer and then try to run the game.

stupid, dont delete the localhost entry, just change it so its two lines like so:

127.0.0.1 localhost
222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com

it doesnt matter really
