Applications stop opening

This hasn't been a problem until recently, but on occasion after Silk Road crashes as we all know it does, I'm unable to open any applications. The only thing I'm left to do is reboot the computer and it's starting to become a nuisance. I can't even open Task Manager to take a look at what's going on. Has anyone else experienced something similar, and if you have, were you able to solve it?

your computer could be running really slow? Upgrade to more RAM maybe?

Sounds like a memory leak issue or somesuch similar.

I've got 512 MB of ram, and this hasn't happened prior to playing this game.
Perhaps it is a leak of sorts.

i have the same problem :/
cant do anything, and not only when it disconnects, when i exit normal too.. its really annoying

I have same exact problem. I check using MemCheck but nothing seems to be wrong. The only thing I do is restart, and it fixes my problem.
