after clicking the start button on the sro launcher the game guard comes up does its thing then sro_client.exe comes on taskbar for 5-10 seconds and goes away and the launcher stays loaded and sro never starts
i KNOW avast is the problem BUT i dont want to get rid of avast coz its the bloody best antivirus software i have used (and even with other antivirus software i get the problem anyway
but getting it to work with sro is a pain in the ass for some reason coz just having it installed and not even running the shields stops sro from working in the way i described above
im on windows XP home 32bit
now is there a way to fix this?
*note* i want people that HAVE had this problem AND FIXED it without removing avast

The only 2 things i can think of now is trying to start Sro in Sandboxie but not sure if avast will stop it then or not but it is worth a try .
Didn't try avast before but some antiviruses have an exception/ignore list , try searching for one and make sro_client.exe an exception .
