Says server is being inspected when it isn't

Everytime I try to run the client it tells me the server is being inspected or updated wen I kow it isn't because my brother is on right now. Also, I obviously have an active internet connection since I'm posting this right now. What could the problem be? (btw, this has been happening since last night)

I guess it's possible your computer's windows firewall might be blocking the connection to Joymax. Can you go to joymax.com or silkroadonline.net?
On your computer, open up a command prompt (start -> type 'cmd' in the box without quotes -> hit enter), type ping <SRO IP Address> and hit enter.
Example: ping 121.133.7.30
I don't know offhand what the IP address is, but if you go to your brother's computer, bring up a command prompt, and type
netstat
one of the items in the list should be your brother's connection to SRO. So then on your computer, replace <SRO IP Address> with the IP address you found.
See if you can ping that IP address on your computer and not get any lost packets, timeouts or anything.
If you can't ping the game server, you may need to look into your windows firewall, or symantec, avast, or other programs you have that could be blocking the connection.
Just some tips to try out.
