how to fix this problem?

this keeps happening every time i launch the browser
the part of the screen goes invisivachumacallit and it stops responding... the program wont start

If this happens multiple consecutive times I would just re-install it.

okay i tried that it didnt work
theni un-installed the game deleted it re-downloaded it and then installed it again
now im getting this new problem
does anyone have an idea as to how to fix this?
my computer specifications are as follows if it helps:
pentium 4
CPU 2.40 GHz
256 MB RAM
its Microsoft Windows XP
professional version 2002
service pack 3
