SRO not responding

Hey there,
I have this problem since I started sro, everytime I play, after a while it just closes and it says, sro_client.exe is not responding, looking for solutions.... etc. And then another window pops up saying, Close program. Then after this I can just restart the game and play for a while, then the same thing happens again. I've already checked the common problems, tried editing the "hosts" file aswell, cause that should've been an solution, but I think that's only for XP. I am running Vista home basic, 2GB ram, ATI Radeon Xpress 200 series, pentium 4 - 3.0ghz (single core cpu) I tried updating my drivers, I have got the latest DirectX possible, my vidcard is up to date. I have checked nearly every forum possible for this problem, but all in vain. I really hope someone can help me out, as it is really annoying playing sro like this.
