Error message in linux

Post by ownedpl0x »

I'm running Debian linux (2.6.30-1-686) and am unable to get Silkroad running. It had been running fine for a few weeks and now it won't load. This has been happening for the past week (BEFORE hackshield) so it's not that.

This is the error I get:

I don't know if that's supposed to be korean text or what... if anyone's seen this error I'd appreciate any guidance.

Thanks!

Edit:
Have tried running it under wine in a variety of ways. Straight up "wine silkroad.exe" as well as my usual for windows apps:

Code: Select all

cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Silkroad && WINEDEBUG=-all wine Silkroad.exe -applaunch 240

What happens is it starts and I get the menu to start the game, also game will update. Then when I hit the start button, the game tries to load and that error message occurs. I have tried adjusting the video settings (resolution, quality, etc.). I'm trying to run it in a virtual wine window but have also tried it straight up.

Reinstalled latest nvidia drivers an now the game runs... however, the game did crash within 5 minutes of running so I may have another problem that someone was describing in another thread.
