HELP! Downloading sro on windows7

i have windows 7 64 bit and i am trying to download sro again and having problems. i am on a college campus and they block all torrents so i cant use the pvp client. when i downloaded the downloader from filefront i cant open it. what i mean is when opening the thing that downloads sro from filefront. i get this error:
C:\Users\(my user name)\Downloads\Silkroad_Online_Client_v1_210_Aug_09.exe is not a valid win32 application
anyone know what this means?
EDIT: i got it downloaded from another site thats not filefront, still would like to know why the filefront one wouldnt work but w/e, i can play now.
