Does anyone else have a problem with video lag on Youtube while Silkroad is open? I cannot watch a video while I'm stalling because the video freezes and gets choppy.. Any way to fix this?

Computer Specs:

Intel Dual Core 2.1Ghz Processor 32BIT
3GB RAM
Zotac nvidia GeForce 9500GT 512MB

PS: Ive played for 3 years - Active guilds, Plvled to 60. ATM I'm in a 8/8 PT at99 mobs for farming. Fucking trolls...

Your computer may have been on for some time now and needs a clean restart.

Are you sure its video lag and not internet lag? Your computer should be good enough to be able to handle this. Try turning the settings down on SRO.

my internet connection is 10mps and my gfx settings are at low. :S

get ccleaner clear your cookies and clean the registry then get mydefrag and defrag your computer

I've gotten this problem as well, you have to wait until the video loads completely for it to not be choppy, but the sound will still be grainy. This is because SRO eats a bunch of memory. The only solution I've found when this starts happening is to reboot.

A preventive measure you can take is to stall in places where there aren't very many people(ie. the center of hotan is not recommended). Turn your all your graphics settings to low, including your textures. Note that the low settings option does not give you low textures, you have to manually do that. Zoom in all the way and point your camera to the sky. Put your SRO in window mode in the smallest resolution.

that would also help but i have only 1gb ram and a single core but i can run sro and youtube is still fine. i'm running a 3.2 ghz p4 "Northwood" (478 socket) with a 8400 gs 512mb. i am even running it at 1440x900. but i also close all background programs.

Mybe is your internt? I dont have a problem and I do the same, i call for a brake(fingers are killing me from gridding) i stall pop youtube and it works just fine like it should be...
