Silkroad Online Forums

Hi, i got a problem right after installing SRO. When i press start on the begining screen it starts loading normaly then when the screen looks like its sending u to the full screen game it crashes. I've played SRO like 1 1/2 years ago and dont remember having a problem so i dont think its the computer (even though vista POs me). I think the client remains running while the program itself crashes which seems strange. Ive done some searching and havent found a solution though i have found this report in Problem Reports and Solutions:

Sounds like a DirectX problem to me. I asume you got the latest video Drivers? It may has something to do with your sound drivers. Everything working ok with that? Latest drivers? You are running SRO as administrator?
