After downloading the Radeon driver, I started to install, but then it said that I do no t have the required hardware for it. What is the required hardware?

I think you've downloaded the wrong driver !

Just make sure that you've downloaded the right driver for the right type of ATI Radeon product

what's your video card? is it AGP or PCI express... you need to download the correct and specific driver...
