If you have a multi-core CPU, try messing with the affinity in the task manager.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del
Go to Processes
Rightclick on sro_client.exe, select Affinity
Leave only one core checked.

ive tried every common solution there is. ran as administrator, reinstalled, reinstalled again, updated drivers, all the basic stuff. a friend also tried to fix it using run -> regedit and some other things

just making sure because well people say they do every common thing but they really don't. you could try uninstalling your graphics drivers then reinstalling them (unless you consider that a common thing also)

not too common but i did try that as well. i dont know if its my drivers since i can play sro if theres no wait such as after inspection. it only happens when the queue pops up

you could try booting into safe mode with networking and see if that works. though i'm not sure if silkroad would load in safe mode.

you could try turning that error off by

* First Right click on My Computer and select Properties option then go to advanced tab.
* Here at bottom click on the button name “Error Reporting”.
* Select the item name “Disable error reporting”. But it is good think to leave a tick in the check box “But notify me when critical errors occur”. Click “OK” to exit the “Error Reporting” window and then click “OK” again to exit System Properties.

though i'm not sure if xp and vista are the same.
