Hey Guys

Im on a Macbook and i cant enter the Silkroad Website.

Can anyone tell me how to fix it or is there another way to enter the page

it means what it says, you need a windows operating system to access the website.

safari with dev options enabled, you can set the User Agent to IE6 and access the site. Clicking on the menu links will crash the browser though.

So truly, there is no point in trying.

That's what Joymax wants you to think. I have no problems accessing Joymax.com with my Linux system. I use Firefox with the User Agent Switcher add-on. I just change my User Agent to Internet Explorer, or something like that, before going to the site.

Someone mentioned doing something similar in Safari, but menus crashing the browser. Maybe Firefox would work better? Assuming there's a version of Firefox for the Mac.

Agreed, but it's not Linux that's enabling me to view their website. It's the User Agent Switcher in Firefox, on any OS.

Safari/Preferences/Advanced/Show develop bar in menu bar
Then open a new tab, click on Develop menu and set it to Internet Explorer.

As boast said but it haven't crashed for me.

Tested on: OSX 10.5.7, Safari 3.2.3.

Depends on your definition of PC. The abbreviation "PC" stands for Personal Computer. Any desktop/laptop you personally use would classify as a PC, whether a Windows box, a Mac, or a Linux box, etc.

Strangely enough, society seems to have turned "PC" into "a Personal Computer that runs a Microsoft Windows OS". This was fine when Windows and OS X (or "System" on earlier Macintosh systems). But what about a Personal Computer that runs OS X from the osx86 project? Is that a PC or a Mac? What about Windows on a Mac, or Linux on a Mac?

when JustOnePlz said "get a pc" would be meaning get windows because thats what you need to enter joymax.com (normally). so hence why i said you don't need a pc to run windows (meaning you don't need to buy a computer to get windows).
