I'm looking for a new pc, but not sure what's good or bad lol, sounds so bad.
would i be able to run SRO with;
* AMD Phenom X3 8400
* (2.1Ghz, 1.5MB Cache)
* Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic
* 3GB DDR2 memory
* 320GB SATA hard drive (7200rpm)
* ATI Radeon HD2100 graphics
i know it's vista and that's kinda loves to eat RAM, but surely there's a way to revert to XP? :/
If this system is bad, could someone give me details as to a comp that runs SRO well

thanks.

I run SRO on a laptop with a Core2 duo 1.86ghz, 3gb ram and integrated graphics(Intel Extreme piece of shit), so it won't be a problem
As long as you don't have integrated graphics, it'll run good

Ive got a dual core e2220 3 gigs of ram onboard GF9200 and i run sro with 45+ FPS no shadow on tho. so that would run sro better than mine. Id go for that if you dont plan on playing something like crysis.

I don't recommend mixing RAM though either 2gb or 4gb would be best

Best thing to do - Find a friend who is a gamer and has a PC company.
That's how i got mine. I don;t know anything about configuration, but i told him what i need it for, so now i can play even on maxed details in euro pt without a bit of lag.

More like a video probably

Because if you see a lag in a pic that would be pretty wierd...

My PC better for only 900$ >_>
Anyway your PC listed (OP) can play sro at max easily. It's an old game..single core w/ any half assed graphics card and 1gb ram can play it maxed.

Although, who would try to game with a Quadro FX card? You must not know much about computers.

I used to run Silkroad on my first laptop with this (crappy) configuration :
- win xp
- 512mB RAM
- NO graphic card but a chipset
So I guess you might not be able to max out all the graphic options but at lest it'll run.
